Abstract
In this paper I object to Crowther's suggestion that time in loop quantum gravity is a case for (theoretically) reductive (ontological) emergence. Crowther believes that Wilson's account of emergence is applicable in the context of loop quantum gravity. After an introduction of Wilson's account of emergence, I argue that Wilson's example of emergence, statistical aggregates, does not comply with her account of emergence. Loop quantum gravity is adopting a similar reduction model for time as that of statistical aggregates, thus I further argue that time in loop quantum gravity is also not emergent.
