The present study used testimonios to understand Latinas' perceptions of ethnic embodiment in counselor education and supervision (CES) doctoral programs from an anti-colonial perspective. The researcher compiled eight individual testimonios from Latinas currently enrolled in or recently graduated from CES programs into a collective narrative. This narrative provided insight into Latina ethnic embodiment within CES, as well as the relationship between Latina and academic culture and the meaning Latinas make of ethnic embodiment in CES. Results indicate participants perceive ethnic embodiment as a source of power, connection, and resistance in the context of the White-centric culture of CES. The present study provides an overview of overarching themes as well as a related analysis of the role of ethnic embodiment in academic anti-coloniality.
