Abstract

This document contains researched commentary on the following composers and works: George Frideric Handel's "Piangerò la sorte mia" from Giulio Cesare; Claude Debussy's La Damoiselle Elue; Johannes Brahms' Zigeunerlieder; Libby Larsen's Try Me Good King: Last Words of the Wives of Henry VIII; Modest Mussorgsky's Nursery. These works were performed in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master of Music degree on November 11, 2009 in The University of Texas at San Antonio Recital Hall.
