The field work was carried out under Purchase Order No. 53-7442-9-713 between the Soil Conservation Service, United States Department of Agriculture, Temple, Texas, and UTSA. The purpose of the survey was to determine the eligibility of these sites for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
