In the LIB290: Information Literacy for Engineering course that I developed and taught Spring 2022, I had students explain how they constructed their search string, what databases/tools they used, and how they selected their resources in a variety of different assignments. Reviewing the videos unveiled misconceptions in using phrase searching and grouping as well as revealed the improvement students made prior to starting the instruction and at the end of the semester.en-USAttribution 3.0 United Stateshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/us/Techsmith Captureassessmentinformation literacyvideosSTEM librarianshipSTEMinformation seekingUsing Techsmith Capture videos to analyze a student’s information seeking behaviorsPresentation
