The contributions on both archaeology and history were given in the newly renovated and refurbished Monterrey Railroad Station, which now bears the name Casa de Cultura. The selection of this antique structure for INAWs regional museum symbolizes an awakened interest in the past of northeastern Mexico, and represents an effort to make that past relevant to the present as well as the future.
