My partner and I designed this performance area based on a poem named, "The Disturbance". Several key words and phrases in the poem gave us the ideas we needed to start our project. One key phrases in the poem that helped us design was, "Pattern Breaks, the shape of our structure was designed after these words. Another phrase that helped us was, "they tell me to stay inside", this group of words made us decide to have an open theater free to the elements. The final and most profound words that brought our concept together were, "ease my mind". Throughout our collaboration we knew the space needed to make everyone fell like they can go anywhere on the grounds and feel relaxation and calmness. The grounds have a sky path to walk on and enjoy the views and the breezes. The sky path allows patrons a great vantage point of the theater, a freshwater lake and the premises.en_US
