dc.description.abstractIt can be difficult to make connections with faculty, especially as a relatively new librarian. This year, for Women’s History Month, the University of Texas at San Antonio Libraries hosted a Pop Up Event to promote Women in STEM. In addition to advocating for the advancement of women in STEM fields, the event opened a door for this librarian to introduce himself and the library to many faculty members, to bring students to interact with the library, and to provide social media content for outreach.en_US
