The Center for Archaeological Research of The University of Texas at San Antonio contracted with the San Antonio Conservation Society to conduct an archival investigation of land to the north of the Yturri-Edmunds Mill property. This land, presently owned hy the Society, is to be developed. The property under investigation was the site of the Camp Roosevelt Tourist Camp, one of San Antonio's first privately owned tourist facilities. The history of the Concepcion acequia was also investigated to establish the location within the property limits.
